Ashtabhuja Temple

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Ashtabhuja. The temple is situated in a cave on the hill, 3 km away from the Vindhyavasini temple.

The temple of Ashtabhuja Devi is situated in a cave situated at a height of about 300 feet, which can be reached by about 160 stairs. now by ropeway, The temple can also be reached. Goddess Ashtabhuja was the daughter of Yashoda, The foster mother of Krishna in Dwapar Yuga. She escaped from the hands of Krishna’s maternal uncle Kansa and went into the sky. She is considered to be the form of Saraswati, the goddess of Yoga, Maya and knowledge.
