If you are coming on normal days then you can go by your car or taxi very near to Maa Vindhyavasini temple but due to huge crowd during Navratri, cars and taxis are stopped far enough, due to which Navratri is celebrated. You may have to walk a lot during the days.

You can either take a hotel, a dharamsala or a room in the Yatri Niwas to keep your belongings, which are safe and if you do not have to stay then from the prasad shops around the temple, if you want to make an offering to the Goddess. If you take prasad etc., then these shops allow you to keep your goods free of cost. Normally if your luggage is locked then it is safe and there have never been any incidents of theft etc. When you keep the goods, every prasad shop has a serial number or number, note it down, so that after visiting the temple, you can easily reach that prasad shop.

On normal days there is not much crowd, but on holidays, on Sundays, on Tuesdays and on special festivals, there is a lot of crowd.
