The devotee in whose name these thousand names are recited, attains complete happiness in his life and with the immense and infinite grace of Mother Durga, his life becomes blissful.The result of the recitation of these thousand names becomes even greater when this recitation is done with complete rituals in a holy and famous Shaktipeeth like Vindhyachal. It is said that Lord Ram also sought the blessings of Maa Vindhyavasini before the war with Ravana. To achieve this, Maa Durga was worshiped in the same way. He chanted the thousand names of Maa Durga with thousand flowers and performed havan. As soon as Dakshina is received for this process, our learned Brahmin recite the Sankalpam (Intent to sponsor the ritual), in the name of you or your suggested person and recite the entire Durga Sahasrta Namavali for you as per the ancient scriptures. In this process, along with every name of Maa Durga, a special flower is also offered to Maa Durga or Maa Vindhyavasini, and then only for you, very pure Havan or Homa is also performed in a proper manner so that the entire sacred work done reaches the Gods and especially Maa Vindhyavasini and you may receive the immense blessings of Maa Vindhyavasini. After the recitation and Havan, we send the picture or video of Havan to you which you can keep with you as an auspicious memory of this sacred work.
Note: Due to the renovation work of the entire complex of Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, this puja can be performed not in the temple itself but at any holy place nearby.
